Questions
How do I book?
Book online, or call or text 702.882.9328. We're by appointment only and don't have a front desk, so if you'd like to stop by for a gift card or a product, please schedule a time first.
Where are you, and how do I get in?
8820 S Maryland Pkwy #115, Las Vegas, inside Flawless Silhouettes Wellness Spa (a suite of separate hair, nail, aesthetics, lash and waxing businesses; we rent three rooms). The front door has a keypad lock and there's no waiting room: wait in your car and text us, and we'll open the door as soon as your room is ready.
How long are sessions?
Full 60, 90 and 120 minute sessions. For anything longer, please call and ask. We keep 15 minutes after every session to check you out and book your next visit.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancel up to 24 hours before at no charge. Same-day cancellations are 50% of the service, but you won't be charged if we can rebook the time. No-call no-shows are charged in full, without exception. When we book your appointment we turn away everyone else who wanted it.
Any allergies I should know about?
We use coconut oil for our massages and doTERRA essential oils throughout the spa. We have other lotion options, but if you're severely allergic there's always a chance of contact. Nail technicians rent in the same spa, so there can occasionally be a strong smell.
Will the massage hurt? Does deep tissue hurt?
Massage shouldn't hurt to the point where you're tensing up. Deep tissue may bring slight discomfort but should stay enjoyable: it should "hurt so good." If you're tensing up, it's too much pressure, even if you can handle it.
Do I have to be completely undressed? Will I be covered?
Most people undress completely for the most benefit, but leaving your underwear on is perfectly fine. You'll be between two sheets with a blanket on top, and only the area being worked on is uncovered.
Can I pick the music?
Yes. We don't decide what you find relaxing: pick an artist or genre on Pandora. Clients have listened to reggae, R&B, Drake, Pantera and more.
Can I talk during my massage?
Talk or don't: whatever feels comfortable. On your first visit we'll check in more about pressure and let you know what we find.
How many sessions will I need, and how will I feel after?
It depends on you. Most issues didn't happen in an hour and won't be resolved in one: for most it takes 4-12 sessions to be pain free, often once or twice a week at first, then monthly to maintain. If you don't get massage regularly, expect to be a little sore for a day or two. This is a process, not an event.
Can I get a massage if I'm in pain, or pregnant?
Yes: when you're in pain is a great time for a massage, though it's easier to keep you feeling good than to get you there. Prenatal massage is welcome too; if you're high risk we'll need a doctor's note, and it's always a good idea to check with your doctor first.
Do you sell gift cards and packages?
Yes. Gift cards for 1, 1.5 or 2 hours (or any amount) are sold online and sent by email. Packages: the Foundation Package (3 hours, $360, use within 3 months) and The Transformation Package (12 hours, $1,320, use within 12 months).
Do you do chair massage for companies and events?
Yes: company wellness programs, employee appreciation, health fairs, trade shows, teacher appreciation and private events. One-time events and trade shows are $150 per hour per therapist; weekly or monthly in-office programs are quoted. Call 702.882.9328.
How can I reach you?
Call or text 702.882.9328, or email info@massagecustoms.com. We take care of you from check-in to check-out, so we can't always get to the phone: leave a message or text and we'll get back to you on our next break.
