FAQs
About Massage in Kansas City, MO
How do I book?
Book online any time, 24/7, or call 816-888-0826 or text 424-396-1062. To book for someone else, please call or text us instead of booking online.
How far ahead do I need to book online?
Online, at least 90 minutes before the time you want. For anything sooner, call to see if we have any last-minute availability.
Do you take same-day appointments?
Yes. Availability varies, but we often have openings the same day. Check online or give us a call.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, subject to therapist availability, so calling ahead is recommended. To count as a walk-in (no deposit) you must arrive within 30 minutes of booking; for same-day appointments more than 30 minutes out, please reserve online or by phone. Walk-ins pay by card or cash on arrival.
Can I request a therapist?
Yes, you can choose your preferred therapist when booking.
How do I know which massage is right for me?
We're happy to help! Reach out before booking and we'll help you choose.
How long are the sessions?
60, 90 or 120 minutes; couples massage is 60 or 90 minutes.
Is there a deposit?
Yes. A $50 deposit is required to reserve your appointment when booking online or over the phone. It goes toward the total cost of your service and can be moved to a new appointment when changes are made at least 24 hours before. Deposits are non-refundable. No deposit is needed when you rebook after your massage, or for a walk-in.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please make changes at least 24 hours before your appointment; your deposit is then saved as a credit toward your next appointment (contact us within 24 hours of the change to have it credited, it isn't applied automatically). Changes made less than 24 hours before are charged 50% of the service (your deposit goes toward it); same-day cancellations, same-day reschedules and no-shows are charged the full service.
What if I'm running late?
Please contact the studio as soon as possible. Your session may be shortened to keep on schedule, and more than 15 minutes late without contacting us counts as a no-show.
Do you give refunds?
All service sales and deposits are final: we don't give refunds on deposits, prepaid services, cancellations, reschedules or gift cards.
What is your weather policy?
If hazardous weather such as snow or ice makes it unsafe, we may need to cancel or reschedule, with no charge. If you can't travel because of the weather, call or text us and we'll gladly reschedule or refund.
Where are you, and where do I park?
1711 Westport Road, Kansas City, MO 64111, in the West Plaza neighborhood. Park in the side lot next to our building (6 client spaces, compact vehicles only), on the street in front on Westport Road, on Genessee Street, or in the lot across the street to the east, next to the nail salon.
When should I arrive?
We invite you to arrive 15 minutes early to decompress in our relaxation room. Our doors stay locked for privacy, so check in at the front door on Westport Road.
Do I need to fill out a form?
New clients fill out a brief health questionnaire before their first visit. Please tell us about any medical conditions, injuries or medications; some conditions need a doctor's approval first, and if you're unwell (fever, infection, anything contagious) please reschedule.
Do I need to undress?
Only to your comfort level. Your therapist leaves the room while you undress, and you're properly draped under a sheet and blanket the whole time.
Will I share a room with other clients?
No. Every session is private: you'll be the only client (or pair, for a couples massage) in the room.
Are you open on Sundays?
Yes, we're open every day, 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
How can I pay?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) are preferred. Cash is accepted with exact change only. Prices don't include gratuity; we prefer tips on the card you pay with.
Do your massage creams contain parabens or scents?
Our massage lotions and creams are unscented, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and 100% vegan.
Do you offer facials?
Yes: holistic facials by our licensed esthetician, using professional, plant-based skincare, including extractions and dermaplaning.
Can I book a massage and a facial in the same visit?
Absolutely. Availability depends on both the massage therapist's and the esthetician's schedules, so we recommend calling ahead to coordinate both.
Do you offer prenatal massage?
Yes, our Mama-to-be Massage, in the first, second or third trimester with no high-risk complications (for a high-risk pregnancy we ask for a doctor's note). We don't offer add-ons for the pregnant partner.
Can we choose different massages for a couples massage?
Yes. Each person chooses a Swedish Relaxation or Deep Tissue massage and their own pressure; for Parents-to-be, mom has a prenatal massage.
Do add-ons make my session longer?
No, our Elevated Touches don't add time to your session. We suggest 1 add-on for a 60-minute session and up to 2 for 90 minutes. The elevated comfort options (aromatic mist, herbal heating pad, weighted eye mask, pain relief cream) are always free on request.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, you can buy a gift card online. Gift cards are good for every service except Flow Post-Surgical Manual Lymph Drainage.
Do you offer memberships?
We don't offer memberships, but we do offer rebooking rates for our loyal clients: ask about them before you leave.
