Maternity massage, made for your changing body
Our therapists are trained and experienced in relieving the pain of pregnancy, with techniques that are safe and comfortable for mother and baby.
Fertility massage
Fertility massage focuses on improving circulation to the abdomen and surrounding areas and decreasing stress throughout the body. It's noninvasive, done through a series of gentle treatments using as many as three to four techniques a session, and receiving massage during fertility treatments has been seen to have a positive impact on a woman's chance of conceiving. What a gift!
For the first 15 minutes, you and your therapist go over your health history and concerns and set up a treatment plan; the rest is hands-on therapy. Unlike other massages, which avoid the abdomen, the abdomen is the main focus: we suggest wearing a sports bra, but it isn't required.
Prenatal massage
This massage focuses on the needs of the mother-to-be during pregnancy. Talk to your therapist about pressure: it can range from a lighter, soothing massage to a deeper, therapeutic one. If you've been diagnosed as high risk, please wait until 12-13 weeks and consult your physician before booking.

Labor prep massage
At 39 weeks of pregnancy we offer a labor prep (labor stimulation) massage that MAY help induce labor, using massage, acupressure, reflexology and specific essential oils to help get your body ready for birth and encourage your baby to join the world. We can't guarantee it, but either way you'll feel a lot better after treatment. You'll need your health provider's approval (a doctor's note may be needed). There's no cancellation fee for it: just give us as much notice as you can.
Postpartum massage
Giving birth is miraculous, but it puts your body through a lot of stress. Starting within 5 days, come in for a soothing postpartum massage and leave feeling emotionally and physically better and rested. We keep using body support cushions for comfort, and we're conscious of the things that come with new motherhood (leaking breasts, swelling and more). If you have an infant 16 weeks or younger, ask your therapist about our mommy and me days.
