Good to know

What do I wear?

Your therapist will guide you beforehand, based on the areas they'll need to reach. Most clients undress completely and are always covered respectfully with sheets. If you'd rather wear underwear, choose a length that's easy to work around.

Can I exercise before or after my massage?

As long as there's no injury or concern, it's up to you. Some people like to enjoy the effects before putting the body through another workout, but we get it if you have a schedule to keep. Coming from a workout? We politely ask for a courtesy shower first.

Am I going to be sore?

After a first session most clients feel sore for a couple of days, much like after a hard workout, because we're changing the quality of the muscle tissue. After two or three visits the body adapts and responds much better.

What's cupping?

Silicone cups, worked into a sports massage to increase circulation and release tension and adhesions. Partial cupping works one area of your choice; full body cupping works every area we treat.

Should I tip, and how much?

Tips are never required, but graciously accepted. Some clients do and some don't; those who do usually give $10-20, depending on the length of the session.
