Treatments
Not sure? Start with a 60 or 90-minute traditional Thai massage.
Thai massage on a table instead of the floor, for anyone who finds it hard to get down onto a mat because of their knees or anything else, or who simply prefers a bed.
Thai-style reflexology: stretching and compression of the lower legs and feet, and a wooden rod on the reflex points of the feet that correspond to the organs of the body, for general health and well-being.
Thai foot massage with the owner. Kay trained in Bangkok over twenty years ago and taught Thai foot massage for many years. She is semi-retired and takes a limited number of clients.
Luk pra kob, from traditional Thai medicine: warm herbal compresses pressed along the body help muscles relax quickly. Turmeric, used by Thai women for centuries, purifies and soothes the skin, and prai leaves it soft and smooth. The 90-minute session uses two herbal balls.
An ancient healing art practiced throughout Thailand, received fully on a floor mat. Acupressure along the body's energy lines releases tension in the joints and muscles, with assisted yoga-like stretches, rocking and rhythmic compression, to bring body, mind and spirit back into balance.
Designed to release severe tension in the muscles and the connective tissue below the surface, to improve range of motion and help injuries heal.
Focused work on the head, neck and shoulders, for stress, tension and headaches. Book it on its own, or add it to any massage.
Smooth heated stones, oiled and used as an extension of the therapist's hands, let warmth relax the muscles more deeply. Deeply calming and centering.
A Swedish massage with hot towels.
Massage for the special needs of expecting mothers, with specially designed cushions and side-lying positions so there's no pressure on the abdomen.
The classic: oil or cream with smooth, gliding strokes and firm but gentle pressure, to ease muscle tension and let you slip into a calm state of relaxation. Short on time? The 45-minute session focuses on one or two spots.
Extremely cold air applied to the painful area to help the body's natural healing process.
A session focused on cupping: six to twelve plastic or silicone cups (never fire) create suction on the skin.
Myofascial release and lymphatic drainage together, to improve the flow of lymph and free restrictions in the fascia. Often used for chronic pain, injuries and lymphedema, and good for general wellness too.
Acupressure, derived from acupuncture: firm pressure on the acupuncture points to rebalance your energy, relieve tension and improve your overall health. In a chair or on a bed.
Hands-on energy healing: the practitioner channels energy through the palms to support your own healing and a state of balance.
Chinese Tuina massage with gua sha: a smooth-edged tool stroked along the skin to ease stagnation and adhesions and stimulate blood flow.
A 60-minute Swedish or deep tissue massage and a 30-minute Thai foot massage.
A 60-minute Thai massage and a 30-minute Thai foot massage.
Thai stretching and relaxing Swedish (or deep tissue) in one visit. Two hours is an hour of each; three hours is two hours of Thai and an hour of Swedish; three and a half is two hours of Thai and ninety minutes of Swedish. It means a change of rooms, so allow a few extra minutes.
Curious about permanent makeup but not ready yet? Start with a brow tint: mapping and shape with color, like henna. The color on the skin fades quickly; on the hairs it lasts three to six weeks.
Deep cleansing, gentle exfoliation and nourishing hydration to restore balance and refresh your complexion, for every skin type.
A fill, three weeks after your first set.
A full set of eyelash extensions, or a fresh start.
A gentle face massage with a smooth stone tool. It can reduce puffiness around the eyes and jawline by encouraging lymphatic drainage, bring a healthy glow, relieve tension in the jaw, temples and forehead, and help skincare absorb.
A multi-step facial that deeply cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and hydrates in one session, with serums rich in antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid for better texture, tone and radiance.
Curls your own lashes so you won't need a curler for two to three weeks.
A lash lift and lash tint together.
A free consultation with Kay about permanent makeup (hair-stroke or powder brows, eyeliner, lips) or a small fine-line tattoo.
